5 Things to bear in mind when committing yourself to an education in drama. This is the first in a series of notes, musings and dialogue about theatre from DSM and our larger family of theatremakers.

@thedramaschoolmumbai is a series of performances, lectures and all things theatre. These events are open to all. This month we have some exciting new work developed by various DSM alumni. An exploration of masks and counter-marks, question on dalit identity and even an award-winning satire that examines the fears and pressures on women in modern culture.

Every month, DSM curates intensive theatre workshops. This month we bring to you a beginner's weekend workshop by Maneesh Verma. Maneesh has a PG Diploma in Acting from NSD and is the founder of Actor's Cult. He has worked in over 40 plays under Satyadeb Dubey, Naseeruddin Shah & Mohan Agashe. He also uses theatre to focus on diversity & inclusion in the corporate world. Currently, he is touring his play 27 02 02 Zaheen Shah across India.
