Let's end this year with a Bang!

2016 has been a crazy year, of many changes that we can't even begin to get our head around. While many of them are a cause for deep pessimism, in this last month, we share stories and thoughts from the young dreamers, and the next generation's contribution to a better 2017.

Thespo brings the best of youth theatre to Prithvi for the 18th time this year. And we have the Tifli International Children's Theatre Festival travelling to Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai. At DSM, students from Batch 2016-17 have already been in-training for six months. The have been making theatre pieces every week of those six months. Now, a choice pick of those will be presented to the public, for the first time ever at our mid-year showcase: Madhyantar! The Hive also comes down to DSM this month, curating some special performance pieces for DSM's blackbox space.

So, if you want to know which way the future is heading, this month has opportunities galore for you!

Exploring Childhood through Theatre

The crossroad where childhood and theatre intersect gives rise to imagination, lateral thinking and ideation. In a world threatened by passive absorption of content, theatre has the power to breed a generation of idea-generators to power every walk of life.
